崑曲傳習班於1992年成立，多年來在紐約州藝術基金會傳習計劃的
資助下，聘請專業戲曲、音樂教師，教導學員戲曲基本唱唸做表和
笛子吹奏，每年舉辦兩次師生聯合演出。
2008年第二學期基礎班開始招生，8月上課。 |

The
Kunqu Workshop is a subdivision of the Kunqu Society. Its main objectives
are preserving and studying the Kunqu performing arts. Established in
1991, the Kunqu Workshop hires professional Kunqu artists and musicians to
teach students Kunqu singing, movement, acting, flute, percussion and
stage make-up. Classes are given twice a month, on the first and the third
Saturday, from 10:30am to 5:00pm, at St. George's Church
(135-32
38th Avenue, Flushing, NY 11354; 4 blocks north of the #7 Main Street
subway station.).
Since 1992, the
Workshop has been supported in part by the Special Arts Services of the
New York State Council on the Arts. Students and their instructors will
participate in the Mid-Year Concert and the Annual Performance. |
