The Kunqu Workshop
Established in 1991 and supported by the New York State Council on the Arts since 1992, the Kunqu Workshop is a subdivision of the Kunqu Society, with the goal of preserving and studying the kunqu art. At the Kunqu Workshop professional kunqu artists and musicians offer classes on singing, movement, acting, flute, and stage make-up to the interested general public. Students of the Workshop present their learning progress and outcomes at internal recitals as well as the Mid-Year Concert and the Annual Performance.

Tuition
$40 per hour for group lessons ($20 for members); $80 per hour for private lessons ($40 for members)
Registration fee: $50 per semester
Membership fee: $50 per year
